Still Stock Boost

Ok...heres the deal...got the bottom end rebuilt due to a bad rod...then the computer was replaced due to a short that the dealer had caused....so i get my car back, and throw my BOV, and MBC controller back on....everything is still set to when i took it off the car...mind you never had the computer flashed or anything....put the stuff back on the car...and its still stock boost...i cant seem to figure out whats wrong with it....anyone have any ideas or have something similar happen....checked for boost leaks, and everything seems fine...any opinions open

you sure you installed the mbc correctly? Mabey its broken. ecu or not if you put a mbc on and turn up the boost it should go up unless your wastegates messed up but even it its messed up you would be running lower boost around 10. Its hard to tell

the thing is....i took it out working...and now that i put it back in, its not working....so i think im gonna have to rule out the boost controller, becuase just to test i hooked it up both ways to see if i would overboost, and nothing....so on that note i might have to rule out the MBC...but for some damn reason i cant seem to figure out what else it is...ive built plenty of these motors...and cant figure this out..ha go figure :-/

So when you say "stock boost" do you mean the 19.5 at 3,000 or so then tappering to 16 by redline? Or do you mean "stock boost" as the factory wastegate actuator 11psi? If you mean you're stuck at 11psi then it has to be either a bad boost controller or bad/improper connections. One thing I've overlooked when installing my MBC was you have to be patient when turning the knob. I know you probably know that, but just incase you don't... That was my problem. Took me 5-6 pulls turning the knob 1/2 turns + each time to see any increase over the stock 11 psi. One more thing... How are you getting your boost source? Turbo outlet or BOV line???

turbo outlet.....ok..heres the wierd thing.....i COMPLETELY took the BC off, and the car pulled like it should, not overboosting at all.....thats what im not understanding here...i opened the BC all the way up...and closed it all the way up...and the boost level felt like it stayed the same...unfortunately i dont have a gauge to go by...but ive tuned enough cars to know where the power is, and where it isnt...this is whats confusing me...and by stock boost i mean the 19.5 tapering down to 16
