442awhp dyno sheet W/PICS!
[QUOTE=Blitzbaster02]Alot of you seem to be running your mouths, do I see you guys making more hp than me?
/QUOTE]
Well i don't know if you see it, but after my last retune i was at 439whp on pump gas. So yeah, i'm making almost as much whp on pump as you are on C16.
Also, do you think a front mount with piping is really gonna just jump your hp up to 500 or so? I think you need to invest money into a real tuner after you get your headstuds and fmic w/piping

i don't know why people are bragging about high hp numbers on pump when it was aided by alcohol or methanol. Please if you're going to state some sort of super high number that couldn't be possible without additional aid, that would be helpful. Dyno number racing doesn't get anyone anywhere. Btw, i made 500whp and i sprayed, but i'll just leave that out.

Man some of you guys are rude know it all a-holes. This guy is building his own car very cheaply on his own, and making decent #'s for his first couple of runs. Who cares about dyno #'s, lets see some trap speeds. He already beat a modded Z06, which I personally know is very fast. There's a way to give positive advice without making someone defensive, it's not that hard. If you don't like his responses, get the F=*k out of his thread and start your own instead of being negative and saying how you make so much more power on pump. He will get his car into the low 11's or maybe even 10's for less than half of what most guys spent.

I apologize if I came off the wrong way the first time I posted. I even said that I'm sure we'll all see you break into the 500whp #'s soon in time and that you have a lot of room to play with. I'm not trying to sound arrogant or like a know-it-all a-hole, just pre-emptively saying you'll be making a lot more power soon, I bet.
Again, sorry if I came off wrong. Congrats on your current setup, honestly, I hope to have the same turbo as you one day. ^.^

That is cool, but you can infer this information in a more polite and efficient manor
. Remember this guy is only at 21 psi and pump gas on those dyno sheets, so those are fantastic numbers dude. All he has to do is get some high octane and turn up the wick he will have 500+ no problem! I guess abrasive works for you so good luck to ya
. I think that there is more power that can be extracted, but we all need a good baseline and with good tuning he shall have more power.

not to bash TT's tuning or anything, but when we first opened the map that TT built for the car, most of the powerband (Around the 19-22 psig range from 3000 to 5500) the timing was set at 3 degrees... at higher rpm it finally ramped up to 8 degrees... this seemed real low to me, and we immediately set it at 11 degrees... we've just been playing from there... the spark plug issue has kept us from tuning with more boost, and from advancing the timing anymore... on the race gas tune, we made about 6-7 pulls on the street and left it at that... i fully expect to get closer to 500 on this same setup, and then some more with the intake manifold and intercooler/piping...
So, in a while we'll be posting some more dyno sheets with increased power output... see what this new 4g63 will make (having personally made close to 500 on a 1g 4g63, turbo being the limiting factor)
I would rather have a stock turbo, a hand full of bolt ons with an alky kit and be putting 380whp and 420ft torque. By time you spool I'm already gone. Turbos that take a year to spool are good if you make serious power to make up for the loss of time. Those numbers are that too impressive to me.
Plus it is much better if its your daily driver, at least more fun to me being on a stock turbo unless I'm making way above 500whp on a big turbo. Your car might be more fun with the addition of an alky kit also but just my personal preference to have a small turbo making big power.
Just my opinion but I'm sure many will agree.
