Another 2.4 question
I have looked for a few days now on what block to use. The best I found was a 94 Galant GS motor. But is that a DOHC or a SOHC motor. Seems like the 2 blocks are a little different like the oiling holes and water passages. So if I actually wanted to do this what block would I need? I found a lot of write ups on the 1g and 2g install, would these be similar in the way to do things? I hope Rnr get chime in here, parts list would also be nice.
It's either get a second job or build a 2.4 and i work enough.

stay 2.0 and go big power... off topic a little but thought I would voice my opinion since I was considering a stroaker kit and decided it was better to stay with the stock stroak and make power other ways.

The block you need to do this will be found in the 4 cylinder 1999-2003 Galants and 2000-2005 eclipse, also some outlanders and what have you, but stick with the galants and eclipse's. And all the water and oil holes line up, I have a 4G64 block and EVO head sitting in the garage.
