What to get...

New to the Evo's, and i was curious on what i would need to get 400-500awhp. What exactly do i need, and how much? Links would be nice .
Sorry if this is a repeated question, i tried searching but found just whole bunch of other random threads...
How much do you guess it would cost in parts and labor to achieve the 400-500awhp goal.
Basically iam trading the 350z for an Evo .. iam a naughty boy and trading sides.. uh oh!!

haha anyway, if i could get some help without being flamed, and see how nice you Evo guys really are , that would be great, thank you, and i cant wait to join the family.

What are your goals for the car and how much money are you willing to spend? 400-500 WHP is going to require a laggy turbo and running race gas. Turbo kits run about 4500 plus all the supporting mods. You will need cams, cam gears, turbo back exhaust, Walbro fuel pump, bigger injectors, engine management and a good tuner.

Also, once you start making that kind of power be prepared to buy a new clutch. My Evo makes around 350 WHP on 100 octane and my stock clutch is slowly starting to wear from my Evo's power.

If you're oh-so interested in Evo's, I'd recommend you read through all the "random" threads... some of them will provide good information... and MANY of them will answer all the questions you have. What you're saying is a nice way to say you're too lazy to read other people's threads that already answered your questions.

I'm nice... nice enough to recommend you search for answers to such a generic, over-asked question.

Who said i wasnt reading those "random" threads as well? I just thought i would post for people who felt like actually answering that exact question in general.

And to the other guy who kindly answered trying to help. My goals are just that, 400-500awhp, then a few cosmetics and i should be set... atleast for awhile, cause i dont need more then 550awhp to be honest...
So what exactly would i need? i will keep searching tomorrow, but i have to get up early tomorrow for work, so i gotta head to bed.
And price is a matter, but iam not sure how much these parts cost compared to 350z parts? I know the 350z parts are MUCH more expensive... like Twinturbos cost like 6-7grand.. then a bottom end build + fuel managements + clutch up can cost about easy 5grand, not including any labor fees, then this can get you about 550rwhp.. maybe 600 if ur lucky... Another reason why iam going with the Evo, much cheaper.

So back to the question, if someone could kindly answer what i would, just the neccessary parts of what would take to achieve minimum 400awhp, and no more needed then 550awph. Bigger FMIC, upgraded turbo, cams? I really dont know that much about Evo's which is why iam trying to absorb as much as i can by searching, but till then i will be asking these annoying noob questions, i apologize.

Oh and when i said "random" threads, i was talkn about threads that NOTHING to do with engine build ups or anything close to power gains... some threads were about custom body kits? No idea how i get sent to that.

www.BuschurRacing.com - click on staged upgrades... get your credit card ready... click to purchase stages 1-4 + their methanol injection kit. Then you'll be right near the 400whp level you want.

Want more power? Click on their turbochargers for evos and choose one that fits your desired whp level. Only thing left to buy are headstuds (if you want) and a clutch (a search will find you many results on those).

Enjoy, have fun, bla bla bla.

dude, just do the search.

there is about 10 different ways to achieve that and you have to find what's right for you.

But turbo upgrade to make that much power is basically turbo upgrade with EMS and all the supporting mods.

everyone else did the study, why shouldn't you? do that or move this back to the noobie section. I'm sure there are multiple threads like this.
