I'd like to buy a safe and reliable trunk-mounted alky injection system. It's important to me that the system be crashworthy and not too much of a fire hazard since I plan to run only methanol.

What are some of the things that I could do to minimize the risk of the tank rupturing in a crash? I've heard of people using a metal go kart tank as a resevoir. Not sure what options are out there. I have access to good fabricator so custom brackets, aluminum boxes, etc. are possible.

If you have a trunk-mounted system, please post what you have and how it is designed.
