symptoms of bad synchros..?
alright thanks, i just want to replace them before modding so it wont void warranty...haha. how much does it cost if i were to replace them without being under warranty? thanks
well just going in to have them replaced isn't going to work, they'll test drive and see if they grind for them. I tried and they of course didn't grind for them, so hopefully they'll be ok this year.
There are tsb's out about it, it's a very common problem. As for replacing them, I'm not 100% sure, but I'm sur it's not cheap!

always depends on the dealer.
In total honesty, call your dealer and be up front about the stuff. 9 out of 10 times the dealer will say yes or no or at least tell you what to do. When I had some probs, I called, told them that I was modded and told them my problem. He said bring it in and as long as the mod didn't cause the problem you've got nothin to worry about. Ask yourself, would you rather help the guy that's up front with you, or the guy that you see is trying to sneak things past you?
