Official HKS EVC V settings thread

Ok guys I know there are some settings floating about but I just felt that there is a need for an official thread on this to consolidate this info. I'll start, I currently run an offset of 150 and a gain of 72 to give me acceptable spool time and boost. I'm beginning to suspect that I have a boost leak though... Your shared input on your settings is greatly appreciated.

Josh

I love that saying, I just like knowing all the features of something I own.

edit: And wtf is up with HKS actually taking the instruction manual for this product off of their site???

I am running 76 with offset of 100 (didnt play with this yet). THis give me a peak of 20.3

THere will be some variability among the setting and the boost achieved due to different parts, ie aftermarket BOV.

I run 58 with 100 offset for A -- 19.5psi
I run 64 with 100 offset for B -- 20.5psi

I turn up to 78 with race gas for 22psi

All psi readings are from a 4th gear pull....

i've been messing around with my settings...i've found that my car feels the strongest running 100 gain and 150 offset...those settings seem to keep my boost peaking around 23 psi and dropping to around 21 psi...i found the best way to dial it in for me was to set the offset to 200 (max) and gain at 100 (max) and work the offset down to my desired psi level...oh and these were third gear pulls, so i may have to set the offset higher on the other setting for highway driving...

Hi all. I have just installed a EVC V (technically, it is being installed as I post and this is my first post btw). The unit I purchased did not come with an English user manual. I was wondering if you guys know if there was one available on the net. I checked the HKS website and could not find anything. Like mitsuorder mentioned, it appears to have been taken out of their website. Appreciate any help.

My settings:

mode A: 100 offset: 82, Spike to 25-26 PSI

mode B: 100 offset 90 Spike to 23-24 PSI

I have my settings maxed out on my EVC 5, plus a Forge Wastegate with the "red" spring

Sure you can hit "mod" and hold till it beeps and do it a second time this will bring you to 7 which is your "A" boost and 8 is your "B" boost.
