APS Twin Vent BOV review

Just installed an APS twin vent BOV. Previous BOV was a TurboXS H34 (recirculates into the intake). I'll start with the TurboXS piece. It worked pretty well. Actually held boost (1/2-1 PSI) better than stock. However, I got occasional bucking when I let off the throttle around town. No idle issues. Can't comment on fluttering since I still run the stock airbox and cannot hear the BOV. I tried 3 adjusting washers initially. Then 2, then no washers. Same bucking effect. No install issues either - bolts right on. Clears the fan shroud fine.

Now the APS BOV. Also bolts right on. I left the spring adjustment bolt the way it was right out of the box. Drivability is like stock. Normal idle. No bucking. No surge or flutter. I use the stock airbox so it's quiet too. The atmosperic venting only occurs under full boost. "PHOOSH" is most audible when letting off the throttle at 6000+ rpm. $240 well spent.

Had mines installed a couple of days too, no problems of stalling and idling. Installed it right out of the box also. Great BOV.

Questions about the valve.....The stock hose that connects to the nipple isnt long enough...is that just me, or you have to get a new one( bought the valve used)? When installed the valve sits on its side and the nipple is pointing torwards the ground correct? thanks

I had mine on for almost 2 months now. It awesome. Quality is great, sounds great. I have the adjustment screw out about 1/4 of an inch out. No stalls, no problem what-so-ever. In my opinion the best BOV out there.

Yes, you need a longer vacuum hose. It comes with the BOV new. But any auto parts store will have bulk vacuum line in the right size.

At low RPM, it's 100% recirculated. As the revs go up (starting just before 5000) the BOV gradually vents some to the atmosphere. It never vents 100% though. Check the design on the APS website.

Read it numerous times before. Must have just missed that part somehow. Thanks.

im very happy with mine also.

Can others tell me how far out their adjustment screw is out from the nut?
I've been playing around with mine.
1/4 inch seems like its set pretty soft to me.
