Mounting FPR

I did a search and couldn't really find anything..... I was looking in the engine bay and didn't really see any good places to mount the FPR just curious where people have been mounting there's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Justin

I have an aeroomtive FPR w/ install kit.

We have a bolt on fuel pressure regulator for the EVO. Bolts right on the end of the regulator, uses the aeromotive top. Best way to do the install.

Is this the same as a 1G on your site?
Al was going to get me the Pruven adapter but it never happened so I am trying to find a solution.

I was think of putting it where the FP solenoid is and relocate or eliminate the FP solenoid.

Similar set up to the 1g, yes. There should be a picture of the FPR for the EVO on our site.

No the Evo one is not up on the site. I looked for it last night when I read this post. I looked at the 1G one though.

Right now I am in between an aeromotive mounted and plumbed up or your setup. There aeromotive is the cheapest solution but not the easiest or cleanest looking. I have to decide soon or later. It's the last piece to the car getting finished once I get the head back this week. Unfortunately my dog is going in for surgery so money is tight right now.

Speaking of the head, I was unfortunate enough to have a head resurfacer drop it's bit after it started to resurface the head. it created a .070 gouge in the head surface so we sent it out and had it welded up. IT actually looks good now.

Dave,

I wish I would have seen your FPR before I purchased mine it would have saved me the headache of finding a good spot.

Anyone have any pics? All of the flat surfaces that have enough room to mount the FPR are on the driver side of the engine compartment so I don't have enough braided hose to run it that far nor would I think it would be a good idea to have the FPR that far away from the fuel rail. Anyone else with any suggestions?

Jarrod is taking a picture right now, going to add it to our site and put a picture of it up here for you guys to see. No wonder the kits don't sell, nobody knows we have them.

The billet body costs us an arm and a leg to have done. They are pressure tested at some rediculous amount of pressure too for safety. All nice AN fittings on it and comes with a fuel pressure gauge. Will work with a sheetmetal intake or stock intake.

We have used more of these here on installs than we sold, no I know why Have had them done for about a year. Jarrod will post pricing after we go through and figure out what we have in them again.

Thanks,

If I would have known that David had a FPR kit I would have just purchased it from him and saved myself the hassle but I already have a kit now. Anyone else with any suggestions on where to mount it?

Where the FPR solenoid is on the end of the manifold. This is where I will be shooting for.
What FPR did you buy?

I bought the aeromotive FPR with an install kit with all the fittings and braided lines. Just trying to find a good place to put it and I don't want to put it too far away from the fuel rail. Anyone else mount an aftermarket FPR yet? Any pics?
