I have an Evo 8 transmission that I had rebuilt, and I was just randomly checking it out before it goes in the car. I noticed that I can move the rear output shaft(for the transfer case) in all directions up/down and left/right. I'm not talking about much, but is this normal, or is something wrong? The transmission input shaft is solid with no free play.

 

Mine did the same.
