How Does A TApping Noise Sound Like?
Does anyone have a sound clip of a tapping noise? I wanna make sure I dont have a tap noise. The engine sounds a lil louder than before after the installation of GSC 272/264

I think he meant lifter tappign noise.

Its pretty apparent, just pop the hood and rev the engine from inside the bay, if you hear a tapping/clicking as the rpms drop then there it is. My cars had intermittent lifter/lash adjustor tap.

The lifters will sound like a clicking. A louder valvetrain is normal after a cam install, but clicking is not.

i dunno why my car suddenly has minor clicking noise. Only very small when I stand next to the hood. When I'm in my car, I cant hear it. Is that okay?
