Hi,
I think I have a good understanding of the design and operation of the twin scroll turbo under factory set engine parameters. I have a question relative to higher boost operation.
Are their any tuners with experience with these turbos? If so, how does this size twin scroll turbo respond to higher boost pressures?
Thanks in advance.

I think mainly the Twin will allow the boost to build quicker. Plus it will bump up the motors ability to breathe better. I'm sorry and can't really answer you questions about hi-boost but I would think what ever the safe operating level of the turbo would have to be measured in CFM vs Bar efficacy vs heat.
for example WRX, TDO4 (stock) at 1bar is good for 435cfm,

IHI VF30 at 1bar is good for 540cfm
So the IHI would be able to give you more power at the same boost level. But it's larger and will take longer to reach the same cfm then a smaller unit. (lag) With the twin scroll you are able to run a larger turbo and have it spool more like a smaller unit. the best of both worlds.
