Accuracy of HP calculator question

Does anyone have a rough idea on how accurate HP calcs are when they are using vehicle weight, RPM, Speed, Distance in Time, known variables such as required HP to hold set MPH (Wind resistance), etc...? I am wondering if I would be able to compare my HP using one of these calculators to a dyno or if I should just use the numbers for my own reference to see if I am gaining or loosing power with my tuning.

It seems pretty accurate.. at least on the power curve. I would assume the numbers it is saying i have is about right for my mods and my tuning but i am still curious.

I seen a calculation for this on the net somewhere, but I can't remember where. I typed in my info at the time and it was right on point.
