I would say stick with the HKS cams for now. The aggressive JUN cams won't make more power on the stock turbo than the HKS's. For now with the stock turbo set up use the HKS's and if you upgrade the turbo later then upgrade the cams. Use the extra money to buy a fuel pump and injectors, or some springs and retainers, that way you'll already have the hardware necesary to upgrade the cams when the time comes.

shouldn't he be getting head studs with his cams. $100 for added protection. are springs and retainers necessary with 280, 272, 264 hks cams? i am not getting a bigger turbo, alky, or water injection. i plan on getting a hotside or TME, intercooler, headstuds, O2 housing, maybe gears, and maybe porting.

To be honest with you I wouldn't touch the headstuds unless you're going to build the entire motor. You can if you want to, but Its not needed and the stockers hold just fine. You guys won't need valve springs with the HKS cams and its good that you already have a walbro I would make injectors next. And the HKS cams with valve springs is great for you, you have a good setup that will make great low end torque and idle well.
I'd suggest the opposite...absolutely get headstuds....no point fitting cams without them
skip the valvesprings...they serve no practical purpose with these cams
If you ever get the point where you build a forged internal bottom end, you can fit springs as part of the rest of the porting you'll likely be doing.
for now, HKS 264/272, headstuds, reflash again, and have fun
If you wanted to add injectors into the mix now for some added safety, and for higher boost levels, that would be a good idea as well

you did not pay attention to what I wrote
with JUN cams you HAVE to buy springs....there is no choice according to them
with HKS cams you do not have to buy springs....stock springs will be fine..stock retainers are fine as well. This is true for all the HKS cams.
As for "opening up your engine" you are going to be in there doing cams already.....the time to do headstuds is when you are doing cams since you are right there anyway - it really does not add much more time to the overall install

Ok if ı going to be in there doing cams already ı can install the head studs sure and also buy spring(because ı like safety)
Is it really unnecessary,if ı buy them ı waste my money?
