Boost Drop Question?

Ok. I've read a lot about guys saying their boost goes to something, lets say 19psi and then drops to 17 or so. My car goes to 20psi and stays there until I let off or change gears.

Is this what the car is suppose to do or should it be dropping down slightly?

Thanks,

A stock evo 8 at 3500 pushes 19 psi, then when it gets to 6500 it drops down to 16 psi. Do you have any mods done to your car cause if you have a boost controller you def can keep the psi up to 20. But stock thats what it does. Hope that helps

take it into redline and see if it holds. I have a mbc and mine still drops when I hit redline. Holds 21 to about 6000 and drops to about 18 or so.
