Boost really isn't the issue......knock is the issue. I know people that are running 26PSI on the stock bolts but they are using alchohol injection to keep the knock down. If for some reason they got ahold of some bad gas or their alchy system died bad things would happen.

safc2 measures/detects knock. you can also slap on some cam gears and retard timing. Then boost away...

I was under the impression that boost alone, without detonation, would stretch your head studs and gaskets, etc. So let's change the question around... At what boost level will harmful detonation occur whithout running race gas or alky, etc?

YOu can run 22psi with 93 pump gas, stock internals, etc. utilizing a WALBRO Fuel Pump for delivery insurance... Stock turbo will flow 24psi (not for long though).

21 is what alot of people run on stock head bolts. To get higher than 23 you'll have to run 100+ octane gas, and by that time people will have aftermarket head studs for insurance.

with a fuel pump and reflash you can run 28.2 psi on the stock turbo and internals with 93 octane. Please have in mind when doing a reflash that mail in crap yes it will lean out your car im not saying nothing about that. you must datalog your car (scan your car while u drive hard and easy to view every aspect of your car) then you get a reflash to suit the parts u are running.

This is not just me saying that its the V.P. of ECUTECK with is the same software that al at dynoflash uses and many of tuners.
