Alright how bad is my evo going to hate me.

I live in hurricane ally apparently. Anyhow due to extinuating circumstances I had to fill half of my tank with 87. So Im running approx 90 octane? I turned the boost controller off for now and will avoid boosting if at all possible. I plan on running a good fuel injector cleaner through it when i can fill with 93 again.

Anything else I should do?

Do not use fuel injector cleaner. Just add 93 as much as you can and drive slowly. after 2 full tanks of 93 you should be good to go.

Stay out of boost to be extra safe and you will be fine.

say no to 87 octane as well but he had to use it... Sport Compact Car recently reviewed serveral octane boosters and they claimed it worked. The best was the NOS one. One bottle won't hurt anything and its better than blowing your engine on 87.

Just dont go around flooring it and you wil be fine. I wouldnt imagine 5-10 psi hurting anythign but if it were me I wouldnt boost at all.

Well all we get around the West Coast area is 91 octane. If you mixed half a tank of your sweet 93 with pissy 87, then you should be just fine running 90 octane. However, I might turn down the boost just slightly if I were you.

yeah, turn the boost down and run it empty. refill with 93 octane fully and you'll be ok.
