Hey Gruppes,

If you look at the pictures in the instruction the damper is put on the other way. I have mine the opposite way.

Also, would it be possible to get one of those fat weird looking washers only? I swear mine didn't come with two.

The instructions do show it being mounted the other way. But everyone on here has it mounted backwards. What gives

Do you guys think it really makes a difference?

Also, how much adjustment should be taken out of the rod. Mine is like 3/4's extended (on the thinner rod). There are two spots where it can be let out, the rod and the base. How much is everyones extended?

I mounted mine the way it is on the instructions. Gruppe-s Dampener is on backwards.

Mine only came with one also. I called Gruppe-S and they said it's only suppoesed to come with one... Your talking about the train wheel looking thing right?

Titaniumkingpin- where did you use those two black washers?

I put both of mine betwee the dampner end that's connected to the engine bracket. Again, not sure if this is right or not because of the poor instructions. I know this isn't rocket science but I would like to know how to properly install a part.

Gruppe-S - Do you think you guys could post the original instructions on here. Possibly a scan?

evo motors (even stock) are known to move up to several inches front/back when getting on it. it's even worse when you remove the balance shafts.

Then so is all the people who posted on here. They muct have gotten their instructions by looking at the picture.

Again, i wonder if there is a difference if it is backwards?

It certainly helps the engine movement in between shifts (although I have the ForcedFed one--basically a WeaponR).

I wonder if this one is going to have the breakage issues the WeaponR has had?

gruppe-s and i do not have it backwards.

from my instruction sheet, it shows it this way.

also, i looked in my hyperrev and lancerevo mag from japan and it shows the stillway evo engine bay with the damper on as gruppe-s and my way.

i don't know if there is a difference either way, but just wanted to put my .02 cents in.

EDIT: if anyone has the japanese LANCEREVO magazine #18, look on page 60 and it will show you that the engine damper is on the same way as mine.
