03's with the 10.5T

I ordered the 10.5T from Forced Performance today and was wondering how many 2003's have also jumped ship to the the 10.5T hotside. There's got to be Tons out there but the search turned up few results , and alot of people questioning if they should go through with it.

I was also wondering If the same 2003's have ported the ported and polished aswell as coated the entire setup, such as turbine housing , 02 housing , and exhaust manifold.

In my particular case I have already P & P'd the exhaust manifold and am currently working on the 02 housing and the Hotside when it arrives will get the same treatment. I will be coating these pieces aswell. Now before I go bolting all of this stuff up is there anyone running this particular setup ? And if so what were your results?

thanks in advance

theres a few running around with that set as for me i got the helix o2 housing with the hotside.cant really tell how much difference it made but i put down 274whp/270tq on a mustang dyno on 20psi.mods were tbe/mbc/safc/fuel pump/660cc injectors/264cams/hotside/o2 housing.

I opted for the hotside ON the TME turbo, as I was looking to do the HOTSIDE only, but heard it was a pain to change, so I bought the TME instead, which included the hotside. Dyno results hopefully today, as it is at Dyno4mance now, can see on my other thread. I can tell a big difference on spool-up, and a HUGE difference on spool-up with the SIDEPIPE open, but this could be the lighter turbo "internals", but heard the spool-up is quicker with the hotside only also!

I have the 10.5 hotside, and O2 housing. The rest is vishnu Stage 1+. I make 307whp on a DynoDynamics Dyno at Dyno4mance. With the 10.5 you can see anywhere between 10-20whp difference in the dyno chart.

I have an 04 that had the 9.8 hotside and switched it out for the 10.5 and larger O2 housing. I like the results.

I've been thinking about getting the hotside aswell, does it require a tune if you add this part?

I would say that it is best to get tuned if you want to achieve its full potential.

I have the Helix O2 hosing on my car. If it were up to me again, I would probably get the ported and coated O2 housing that Buschur sells.

Did you see no gains in your time slips or on the dyno?
