I am looking for a NON STAINLESS STEEL HEADER for a 2003 evo. So far all the companies I have found make thier headers in stailess steel.

The reason for that is that I am building a custom turbo kit out of an evo turbo setup and need a regular steel header so I can weld it easely.

So does anybody make a regular steel header for the evo ???

 

I think everyone uses the stainless to deal with the high temps.

if you don't use stainless you run the risk of corrosion, cracking, or falure in a much shorter time frame than if you use stainless...

for applications like turbo headers that are going to undergoing a lot of high heat abuse.....that is why they make stainless steel........

 

yeah I know but I dont have the capabilities to weld stainless....
