Walbro 255lph????

I intalled my Walbro 255lph it works great, has better response in high rmp. Is safe to use that walbro pump with my current settings without problem or it can damage my engine if i don't tune my ecu? i am planning to send my ecu to dynoflash next month. The installation was easy the only problem is to remove the metal ring that hold the pump to the gas tank then the rest was a piece of cake.

I dont think you will dammage anything. with your mods now, its not really necessary for the larger pump, so next month, have it flashed. What I mean, the stock pump would have held up with these mods, larger pump is fine, but the ECU will pull out fuel as if stock one still in there!

The vehicle will only use so much fuel. Installing a larger pump and doing nothing else will result in zero gains.

the larger fuel pump isnt necessary at this point, but will be w/ the ecu flash. added safety measure.

I believe that your motor will just run a little richer than stock until you get a flash, or SAFC, etc... Hardly the end of the world, lol.
