GT35R+3.5 Exhaust Piping?

Is there any gain in running a GT35R with a 3.0" down pipe + a 3.5" exhaust pipe?

I went from a 3 inch front pipe to a 3.5 inch front pipe and went from a 3 inch exhaust to a 4 inch exhaust, didn't see any particular gains... The A/F ratio went a bit richer and had to lean it out a bit more on the mixture

Unless you are pushing into the 600-700hp range, it's a waste of money. 3" exhaust moves ALOT of exhaust.

IMO you'd see more gains from the 3.5" dp and 3" ex vs the other way around.

If I was to upgrade to the Gt35r turbo would I have to upgrade my HKS 3" exhaust to a 3.5?? I'm looking for some answers...I'm doubting that i would have to change it.
