APS is quality stuff. I have the 3" turbo back and its great. I dont think the 3.5 would be too big for the 35R. I found these threads with a little more info:

Good luck.

3 inch is plenty for the GT35R. You really don't 3.5 unless your pushing some pretty big whp. I think 3 inch will support over 650 or 700whp. If I remember correctly a well known tuner saying that in a thread.

But could it hurt power?

For the APS there are a couple of spacers that go between the frame and the brace, they come with the exaust.

u are right but u have to think logicly. for the amount u are going to pay for the 3.5" u are not going to feel any more power just because the displacement isnt there . a 2l engine doesnt need such a huge exhaust. now dont get me wrong it prob sounds really sweet and i know i would do it just for the sound, but what does it cost? and are there fitment problems?

you may loose some torque, but the bigger the turbo, the bigger the exhaust i'd say. However, most people are good with a 3"

We saw a gain going from a 3" to a 3.5" on our shop STI running a SR55(GT30). So on a EVO with a 35R I could see a substantial gain running a extra .5"

APS are some of the highest quality parts available for these cars. The word the best describes them in engineered. They are engineered almost to perfection. I have never had a bad quality or warrentied a APS part.

To clear the subframe braces there are spacers to move them down so it will clear. These are also included.

I wonder too??

I am out of stock on them right now. If you want one I would put one on back order so I can make sure you get the next one off the boat. Let me know if you are interested. My contact info is below.
