Clutch Adjustment & TOB
Clutch Adjustment & TOB
Shifting's a slow thing in my Evo - basically since soon after my replacement clutch. I've never been very happy with the engagement point (seems to move when warmed) and I've adjusted it behind the pedal once.
I've heard the slow (no grind just slow to press into most gears - would grind if I forced) shifting could be due to the clutch "dragging" and/or a very worn TOB. My TOB has been whining since the replacement.
I'd like to know what everyone thinks a competent shop should take time-wise to adjust the clutch and replace the TOB?
Thanks!
