I have the same controller. I put my controller in my glove compartment though and mounted the screen down by the ashtray. I wouldn't mind trying putting mine where you did though.

Thanks,

I used double sided velcro tape to mount the screen there... I can monitor my boost in PSI with the HKS and Bar with the Blitz TT

I bought it from options auto salon for like $500-$550...

This EBC was in my 04 SRT4, now it resides in my EVO 8

Works great IMO. Easy as hell to use and to adjust boost. I think it's the best EBC out there, but that is just my opinion.

not only that its more compact, and also comes with a "stepper" motor which helps you to make consistent boost regardless of temperature or altitude.

So in higher elevation areas, you'll still make boost.

If I'm wrong on the temperature aspect of this EBC's feature someone correct me.

You still have to tune it for when the temp. changes. As far as I know the stepping motor doesn't help in that department. With the temp being in the low 90's, I've had mine up to about 72%. The other night I got off work and it had cooled down ALOT and I had to turn it down to 66% cause it kept hitting the warning.

I need help setting up my EBC. I set warning at 23, and I want my EBC to peak at 23 psi in 3-5th gears, and maybe dropping no more than 2 psi. Today was a high 80- low 90 degree day and It wont see more than 1.43 bar...

i looked in the troubleshooting section of the manual and it said "make sure you didnt set your warning too low, other wise you could keep turning up the knobs, but peak boost wont rise.

Anyhow the question for one run, I ran the car in 4th gear and managed to peak at 1.47 bar dropping to 1.37, then 1.32 or so......

So should I set the warning higher? like 24 psi, then try to adjust the knobs to make peak boost at 1.50-1.55 bar?

I don't know anything about bar....only psi.

I have my warning set to 21 psi. Every gear is different with 4th gear being the gear boost will spike higher. At least on my car it is. Set it while in 4th gear and all the other gears should be okay. That is how I set the boost on my car. If I'm doing it wrong someone let me know.

Are you trying to run 24 psi on pump gas?

im sure you hve the instructions with the unit. anyway you test it at WOT in 3rd to adjust the boost. THe warning you should set 1-1.5psi above your max boost level. So if you want 20psi, set warning to 21 or 21.5

Here is an install for you.
I also redid this install so there are no screws.
