Hi,

I have a 05 EVO and I decided to buy the Buschur Upper Deluxe Kit with the 1G BOV.

I received the package from Buschur, the BOV comes iwth the bolts and gaskets and I also received a metal tubing extension(aprox 2" long) that I am guessing it goes to the air filter hose.


Well, my first problem is that the 1G BOV has a different diameter venting tube than the stock BOV consequently I can't fit the return hose properly(from air filter intake pipe to BOV)

My second problem is that since I installed the Buschur upper pipe now the location of the BOV makes the fitting of the stock BOV pipe nearly impossible.

Last but not least, does the 1G BOV suppose to be venting to the atmosphere? if so, why Buschur sends you the 2" tube adaptor?

Can someone please send me a pic?, does any one have installtion tips?, Thank you sooo much!!

 

There are a couple of pics from the BR site that may help (see below). You can clearly see it is designed to recirculate back into the intake. If I recall correctly, I didn't use the little metal pipe from the kit at all. I just went to a local parts store to find a hose that would work, trimmed it to fit, and called it a day.

I also have the BR intake pipe (as shown in the picture) so it may be different if you have the stock accordian-like pipe. Hope this helps.
