RMR Intake Replacement Filter

Hello,

I have a RMR air filter kit...I think it is time to replace the filter...just the filter, but I don't know where I can just purchase the filter....all theplaces I've seen sells the whole kit....

Also, I know the K&N filter you can wash and reuse...can you wash and reuse any other aftermarket filters, such as the RMR air filters?....

Can you put other aftermarket filters onto the RMR intake kit? Anyone else have a RMR intake, please let me know where you got your replacement air filter. Thanks.

Just use compressed air to clean it.

Clean it with H2O and a mild detergent. Let it dry. Then apply K&N's filter oil on it. They make a kit available at your local car parts store. I've got the RMR filter and use the stock intake snorkle with it. Works great

You can CLEAN it with whatever mild soap and water you want.

It's only their OIL that you "NEED".

Actually, I have even seen people use K&N's without using any oil at all, but I don't know that I would recommend doing that.

I'm sure it still filters a million times better than a foam filter.
