All intakes make the car actually loose a little tq and some ppl have problems with there cars stalling out. THe best intake i can suggest to you is a works drop in filter. Hopefully with all your other mods you plan on getting sometype of a tune
HKS is good, Injen is good, people say stay away from the K&N typoon.
Personally, i had an AEM intake and i didn't like the quality much.
Got an injen intake/uicp and the quality seems much better than the AEM.
Only problem i had was that there was a tiny leak at the weld.
There are plenty of threads regarding intakes.

We have seen good reviews from the TurboXS filter. Most intakes that give problems are the ones that replace the hose after the MAF sensor. The stock hose seems to work the best.

I had the AEM for about a month without a flash and had no problems, since flash, has continued to perform great. No problems with the construction other than the overly large filter and fittment with a mini battery kit...
i think the best thing to do is stick with the stock airbox with a k&n or whatever replacement filter....imo stick with that and get a upper ic

Injen, HKS RS, Helix, have all proven to make good power when teamed with a flash or some form of fuel remapping. All fit well, perform well, and are easy to install
