westech performance group
I'd like to see whos interested in participating in some research and development for the evo and any other car perhaps. i work @ westech performance group which is primarily a domestic R & D dyno center here in socal CA.
Westech if any of you guys know is one of the best dyno centers in America. If any of you guys are into V8's or own one, you would know what im talking about. This shop is the test facility for most magazine companies like popular hot rodding, chevy high perfomance, and muscle car mag. We have had imports and domestics come in all the time for chassis dyno tuning as well as what they are popular for engine dyno tuning.
This is one of the only shops here in America that are known for having one of the best facilities for R&D testing. the only problem here guys is, i like many of you guys enjoy imports much more than domestics and i would really like to start leaning Westech towards our generation. What im hoping for are individuals or vendors who would like to participate in some R&D for Evo's, DSM's, STi's, Silvia's, or Hondas.
We at Westech can pretty much test anything you guys want from turbos setups, cams, nitrous, valve springs, heads & blocks, port work, injectors, fuel managment systems, etc all on the spot without the hassel of doing it in the chassis. Abel Ibarra has brough his car to us for dyno testing and there are also many guys who hold world records that bring there stuff to us. We have state of the art technology here with 2 superflow engine dynos, 1 superflow 2wd chassis dyno, superflow flow bench, MSD distributor servicing bench, and an injector cleaning/flowtesting machine.
Why am i asking for EVO's when all we got here is a 2WD dyno you ask? I would like to focus on engine testing the 4g63 rather than whp. I want to see what actually works and doesn't with real world results rather than comprimising for drivetrain loss. Also i know there is Tuning Technologies about 15 minutes away with an AWD dyno for those who want to test for WHP.
I would like to see the interests in the 4G63 community about this and im hoping it would interest vendors like Buschur, Gruppe-S, Road race, etc to maybe come and test with us to see for themselves what we are all about. This is a great test facility for companies who develop their own products to easily and accessibly test different parts to see whats beneficial.
