downpipe gasket help

noticed that i have a leak where my dp meets the o2 housing. took it off and the thin metal gasket was mangled. i have a 3 inch dp that won't work with the stock donut gasket. what should i use? originally i was thinking of permatex rtv hi-temp copper, but realized it's only good to 700f.

Ok well there are a couple things you can do. If the downpipe you are using uses a flat type gasket then it is probably the normal generic flange. On way to check is see if the gasket you had is the same as where the downpipe meets the cat. If it is you can buy a new gasket from our website here.
