Transmission Problems
I hope someone has a idea of what this could be.
Problems:
Over the last week:
1. Started to hear a strange deceleration noise when accellerating in 5th gear.
2. When I would come to a stop I would hear the same noise, keep in mind the car was in neutral.

I took the car into the dealership yesterday to have it checked out. The shop foreman took a ride with me to see if I could duplicate the sound for him. I was unable to duplicate the sound again. He checked the fluid levels and said that if it was the TC or transmission the noise would most likely be a constant noise not just in a certain gear. Once I left the dealership I did a pull in fourth gear and the sound came again. Seems to happen when it is really hot out. Right around 5000-6000 RPMs under full load. After hearing the sound again I noticed it sounded exactly like an old accessory belt (That god awful squealing sound). Well, I am having them fix the leak on the transmission this week so hopefully it will make the sound when we go out for another ride. Could it be the accessory belt? I have no clue on what the hell the noise could be. I did not want to continue doing pulls incase it was something serious. Any ideas?

did u ever figure out where the leak was coming from and what they did to fix it??
