Turbo Smart MBC problems HELP!!!

Ok I installed the turbosmart mbc and now even when I turn the boost up to the stock 17psi and push on the gas I hit fuel cut. I have to turn the boost control all the way down just so I do not hit fuel cut. Does anyone have any idea why the car is doing this?

How are you measuring the PSI? Was the measurement device installed before the MBC? What was it stock? BTW if your hitting fuel cut on an '05 stop and take it to the first shop you see ASAP! Were are you getting the pressure reading?

I have an 03 and I am reading the psi through a cobalt boost gauge. The gauge was reading 17psi before the boost control went in. Now that it is in I hit fuel cut and have no idea why it is doing that. The gauge has been installed for a while.
