Just send it to a reputable machine shop for lightening and save yourself some cash. Precision in Austin was able to get my stocker within one pound of my old Fidanza...

The stock one is already pretty light but is prone to warping. I'd suggest looking for one with a replaceable steel fricton insert.

I would much rather the stock material warp while taking the abuse from the heat instead of having an aluminum transfer all of the heat to my clutch disc. Just my opinion. I'm sure you'll be fine by going either way.

I replaced my clutch with an ACT and kept my stock (but resurfaced) flywheel. No problems yet with 8,000 miles.

there is a company that makes a flywheel that isnbt aluminum and dissipates heat much better than stock..I will have to check my files to see if I can remember which one it is...but overall id say its worth it.

What does this do to BOTH the hp and trq? With higher hp vehicles(600+) is this worth it?
