What kind of metal for manifold?

I was wondering what kind of pipe is usually used to make exhaust manifolds. Diameter, thickness? where do you get such pipe?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

we use different materials dependent on the application.

from 16g 304 stainless to 8g 321 forged stainless.

for high quality 16g 304 or 321 stainless give a call to burns stainless or check out www.burnsstainless.com, only place we buy from ask for casey and tell him ken from phoenix turbo sent you.

inconel is nice, but not really necessary or practical for most applications.
