Ordered ACT clutch kit, wrong part?

I just purchased an ACT clutch kit from one of their vendors and I think I may have gotten the wrong part. The sticker on the once shrink wrapped clutch disk says it's a performance street clutch disc but it doesn't look like the disk in ACT's brochure. In addition, the part number on the disk looks different from the part number on their web site. The part number should be MBSD088S but it is MBD088U on the part. It also says Exedy on the hub and has an ACT stamp on the friction material. Has anyone else bought this clutch? If so, and it's un-installed, can you check the part number and see if it matches? I've been calling ACT all morning but they're not open yet. If anyone else has had a similar issue please give me your feedback.

OK, it is an exedy clutch, so no problem there.

Is the disc a complete disc, or does it have separate "pucks"?

It's a complete disc. I could care less if it's an exedy and re-stamped, I just want to make sure I get what I paid for. I don't want a stock like disc.

well, IIRC they use a stock dics with heavier springs. Who did you order it from?

Logic. And just in case there are any excitable people reading this, I am in no way attempting to bad mouth anyone. I'm just trying to get a better understanding as to what part I received and I'm too impatient to wait for the shops to open so I posted here to verify that I got the right part. : )

ACT has a misprint in there catalog for the Evo clutch. It ends up being like an '85 acura integra clutch. Here is a pic of what it should look like.

Mine looks like yours. What is the part number on the hub of the disc? And what disc do you have?

Just talked to ACT....for some reason the part # has changed but the discs are the same.

No problem

I concur, no problem. And may I compliment Dru on his outstanding customer support. Looks like I'm 2 for 2 as far as getting what I ordered for the EVO. I look forward to doing business with Logic in the future.
