I have a brand new Ultimate Racing HFC in the box.
I might install it once I put together my TBE.

By the way Warrtalon, what TBE do you have ?
I have the Megan 3" TBE with resonated TP courtesy of TheSpeedFactor.

Several reasons:

1) It's annoying
2) What if you have a REAL problem down the road and the SES comes on for anothe reason? You won't even know, since yours is always on
3) Some states have inspections that simply plug into your diagnostic port to check for codes. If your SES light is on, you fail.

There is a definitive way to eleiviate your SES.

The use of an O2Sim will work reliably without question.
I have done it to a couple of different cars in the past.

The only drawback is requiring that the factory wiring be spliced into as
there seems to be no harness available.

If I go the route of using an O2 Sim, I will most likely make a plug and play
harness, if I can obtain all the connectors required.
Perhaps an old O2 sensor harness ?

I know the test pipe will throw the check engine light, I was planning on using either the Perrin or Helix which both come with there own "fix". I am not worried about the exhaust being loud (have JIC Ti cat-back) as I am wondering how much louder the exhaust will get with the downpipe and test pipe.

Thanks again for all the info!

Here is the exact same thing that Perrin sells.

As for the noise being louder, everyone seems to agree that your Evo will
become louder. I can't vouch for that as I have the stock cat.

try driving behind a car that is catless for awhile, maybe I'm more sensitive to it but my eyes get really irratated and water up. I feel sorry for all the people that drive behind me

The smell doesn't bother me at all. I dont even notice it with the windows open.

It shouldn't even be a concern for you.

Is there a lot of differance between a test pipe and a high-flow cat? except if you need to run higher octane leaded fuel.
