need help with ferrea p/n

guys...will these ferrea parts work in a 2005 evo8?

S10031 valve springs

E11005 retainers

SL1002 seat locators

K10035 valve locks

I have a friend who sold his 2G dsm and had these parts left over that he never installed. He told me they were for the evo and he would have had to have his heads machined to fit these parts. I got them from him for $350.

Old school DSM guru.....please help!

I don't think they will. Those part #s seem to be for the Eclipse GS-GST 2.0L - DOHC 16 VALVE (4G63-4G63T) - 1990-2000

Ferrea Valve #s for 2003 Evo:
F1825P E 30.5 mm 6.55 mm 109.7 mm 3.8 mm 22º Flo. Stock size
F1454P E 31.5 mm 6.55 mm 109.7 mm 3.8 mm 22º Flo. + 1 mm oversize
F1826P I 34 mm 6.57 mm 109.7 mm 3.8 mm 20º Super Flo. Stock size
F1452P I 35 mm 6.57 mm 109.7 mm 3.8 mm 20º Super Flo. + 1 mm oversize

Ferrea Spring #s for 2003 EVO:
S10084 Dual Spring - Turbo 22.85 mm 17.5 mm 95 lbs 225 lbs 327 lbs 18 mm 12.5 mm
Special Alloy 30.45 mm 22.85 mm @30.6 mm @20.6 mm
This Spring requires Ferrea Titanium Retainer # E11052 and Ferrea Spring Seat Locator # SL1041.

Actually I confirmed that the S10031 valve springs are for the Eclipse GST 2.0L - DOHC 16 VALVE (4G63-4G63T) - 1990-2000.

Valve Seals and Valve guides are interchangeable between the Evo and the 4G63-4G63T motors.

Hope this helps.

thats what I thought. I found the same info on ferrea's web page. My buddy needed some quick cash cause he was getting married. Guess I can just sell them on ebay for the 2g DSM.

Thanks

No prob.

I have the full Ferrea valvetrain on my Evo and I highly recommend. You will be tempted to keep upping your revlimit though.

"Revlimit? - What Revlimit?!!!"
