problem=past two days i noticed a ticking sound when idle and it is alot loupier like it is about to die. service light came on. been ok for 7mths now this.
any ideas. yes it is tuned by pros.

Go get the code pulled, the ticking please explain more. If it is not mechanical it could be as simple as a vaccuum leak.

try replacing the pcv valve. autozone or pep boys. its like 2-3 bucks.
