sorry to hijack, will a wb sensor have to redo the "free air calibration" when switching it from afr to lambda?

for gas, stoichiometric burn for gas = 14.7:1, methyl alcohol = ~6.5:1. for the afr of the mixture, EXACT gas/meoh ratio has to be known to know the mixture afr

Lambda reading........i think its not hydrocarbon sensitive 1.0 = stoichiometric, <1.0 = rich, >1.0 = lean..........could someone confirn this?

I recommend the Zeitronix Zt-2. Great stuff...

lambda or afr readings come from the o2 sensor. there may be a sensor that lasts a bit longer than another but lead ruins them all soon enough.

I remember reading of a sensor that can withstand leaded race gas. Maybe I am wrong?

who here has the AEM? Is it a straight plug and play device? I dont need a AEM EMS for it to work correct because im using the Power FC. I prefer the AEM since its simple and I dont need to datalog for now.

Innovate XD-1 is much better than the AEM gauge. Wider range, cheap sensor to replace, programmable colors, programmable warning feature, less than an inch thick, etc. I'm totally satisfied with mine. Due to the fact that I'm doing a lot of tuning now and I like to keep tabs on the AFR, I have mine suction-cupped to the windshield.
