HKS 272/272 and gears without any type of engine management.

I am selling my beloved EVO. I am taking off my XEDE tonight. My question is: How will the Car run on the stock ECU with 272/272's and the cam gears set to -3/-3? Will it at least be safe? Idle?

Thank you

Depending on how good of a tune you have on the XEDE, your car will run rougher and will have more of a lope at idle. I had a completely untuned UTEC in my car with 272s and my car ran pretty rich and idled rough. Why not just take out the cams, install the stock ones, and sell the 272s? I know it's a PITA, but you'll make a little bit more money. If you don't have the stock cams, I have my stockers if you want to buy them.
