Does anyone have any data on exhaust pressure on a stock turbo, GT30, and a GT35 - all run at 1.5 bar boost, to say 8000 RPM. I am wondering how close to intake pressure it can get get on these engines and turbosystem combinations. I would like to compare the exh:int pressure ratio to other turbocharged engines of similar specific output that I've read about.

Mentioned pressure ratio is a major factor in selecting duration and phasing of . Surprised not to have seen anyone talking about this parameter especially considering how much cams get talked about on here. Seems everyday there are one or two new "which cam for me?" questions.

TIA for any information provided.

Measure it.

From what I understand, exhaust pressure can be 2x to 3x intake pressure.

the turbonetics thumpers are designed for up to 4:1 ratio

my friend has tested his FR manifold with a .63 gt35R and he tells me his intake to exhaust pressure ratio was near 1 to 1.

That is excellent. What was power and rough width of power?
