any gains

currently i have a k&n drop in, br turbo back, utec, kelford cams, ams 780 injectors, and fuel rail i am going to buy the ams fmic core and not the licp because i will get one with there turbo kit i will be buying later, my question is will i notice a difference in just switching the core while i still have the stock turbo? ams says 20hp at the crank so thats around 13whp. should i expect that?

With these hot summer days yes you will notice a difference. The stock I/C if ran hard in the the middle of the day will get heat soaked in no time. I don't know about a 20hp gain. It's more of keeping you HP leveled instead of losing power because of the heat.

In addition, remember that the upgraded FMIC will likely not have as high a pressure drop across the core as the stock unit. This will contribute to better boost response...and of course more area under the power curve.
