More APS BOV feedback.....my experience
I figured more feedback on parts is always good so here goes.....
Bolted right on in stock location in about 5 min, maybe less. I have a cone intake filter so I could here the stock one pretty loud. The APS BOV seems to be quieter on part throttle relief. At full Throttle red-line shifts it is definately louder but the tone is the same.
The biggest thing I noticed though is on the boost gauge. Prior to installing this part stock boost would hit to 20-21 psi taper to 17, float to 19, drop back down.
The APS BOV is almost the same, spikes to 21 but when it drops to 17 it stays stable at that psi.
17.35 is the ECU controlled taper right?? I cant remember right now.
