Slave cylinder question
Slave cylinder question
this might be a stupid question, but i had to replace my clutch over the weekend. the car is not all back together yet but the slave cylinder is hooked back up to the trans and tube. i went to bleed the system to get the air out but when i pushed the pedal it went straight to the floor and didn't come back up. so i bleed the system about 5 or so times and the pedal never changed. i still have to pull it to get it up. am i doing something wrong. it all should work. there is enough fluid in the resivior. please help

ok...i have this same problem...and when i look at the slave cylinder while someone steps on the clutch, it just doesnt do anything, so then i noticed that the push rod is actually engaged and the problem is that it wont recoil....so im really confused!!! please help ASAP!! cause my other car just threw its belts on me today and i have to get this thing runnin by tommrow....
I had a similar problem. My pedal would get stuck in the middle and wouldn't pop back up until I used my hands. I took it to the dealer and got my slave cylinder replaced. Now the problem is gone. I hope that helps.
