well, should i skip the drop in filter? because boost controller was definetly one of the next mods but what about the filter? also when would be a good time to throw cams in?

i would get a drop in filter or an intake...such as the buschur...it's cheap and effective.
after you get the filter and boost controller....you should have it tuned...you can do cams any time you want...just one thing to keep in mind...whenever you change the cams in the car.....you will NEED to have it tuned

if you have the money...an intake, boost control, and cams with a flash would make your car feel completely different

Aftermarket intake will produce power once the car is tuned for it. But try a drop-in first and wait until you have atleast 320whp before changing the stock airbox and maf. If you don't you'll see in the amount of money it will cost you buying intakes because they are not working properly.

ok that sounds pretty good, just i was reading in another thread, no other intake sucks in the cold air as good as stock does. because of its snorkel like opening. but i will keep this in mind? also what are the side effects of running 280 cams on stock turbo?

the side effects are that your car will not idle perfect and that it will be fast as hell......i have 280s with the stock turbo and love them

personally, I have the agency short ram kit. Its just a MAF adaptor and K&N cone filter. With that only, before I had my exhaust, I ran 248.8 awhp on a dyno dynamics. I think the only way an intake affects performance where a tune is required is if you use a hard intake pipe such as those supplied with the HKS RS. My intake made the "sucking" sound of the turbo very noticeable and the stock BOV became very apparent.
