I searched and couldnt find any info on silicone replacement versus custom piping for radiator hoses. theres a couple pics attached to show you a custom piping setup

whats the benefit of having one over the other?
is the piping just for looks?
what material (aluminum/stainless) should be used if I should need to have one made?

Ive seen the custom piping on a few cars and I notice quite a few peaple have the silicone replacement kits. I want to go with a turbo kit but Im worried about heat issues with a tubular manifold; I guess if most people arent having issues I shouldnt worry
Sorry if this is so long and seems like a retarded post, just want to take all necessary precautionary measures to keep the car running well since its my daily driver.

that is the rnr custom radiator hose. it can be good and bad, you could absorb more heat which would make your radiator work more (not a big deal) or you could expel heat making your engine bay hotter (not a big deal)

i say... stick with the rubber hose and wrap it with spacey shiny looking heat reflective stuff. that way it won't degrade due to the mani temps. shield yer mani too
