Stock ECU/MAF WHP/Torque Dyno Record? Pics & Graphs Inside
Finally got some results on my car. The car definitely has a lot left in it but we stopped because we think we may have come very close to the limits of my fuel system (just a Walbro 255 and AMS 880 injectors). This is on a Vishnu Xede with stock ECU, stock MAF, stock head, and stock intake manifold. We dynoed on pure 91 and on race fuel. On 91 we boosted only at 19 psi. On race fuel we had to stop tuning at only 27 to 27.5 psi. On race fuel, we made 539whp and 492 torque. Here is the graph:
Here is my car on Tuning Technologies' Dyno:
Here is pic of my boost gauge showing only 27psi. The max boost we ever saw on this tune was under 27.5

We are only getting started on this but I'd like to thank Chris & Alfred @ Tuning Technologies, AMS for obviously well thought-out products, Shiv @ Vishnu, and my wife for not divorcing me during the rebuilt proce$$.

Oh, this is just a BIG shout-out to Robert at http://www.zakleecorp.com who makes an extremely cool product. I bought this clear cam gear cover off of him for a couple of reasons, one was that I could leave my cover on while getting dynoed. I installed the little piece of reflective tape on my cam gear, then put on the cam gear cover. Tuning Technologies has this really cool laser-type device that picks up tach signals. Everyone else has to take their cam gear cover off to get tuned, but not me any more.

When we were test driving it, the stock MAF honeycomb screen gave up the ghost. Chris at Tuning Technologies has a few ideas on how to modify the intake/BOV piping to make the airflow less turbulent. We'll see how that works out. Unfortunately, I couldn't drive the car home due to this problem...
Here is another pic that shows what the MAF screen is supposed to look like:

I should probably add that the temperature was almost a 100 degrees. I know from experience that correction factors don't fully "correct" the whp. On a nice cool day, the numbers would have been higher... See the graph below.
damn smoggy i rememebr seeing your car there at Tuningtech. When Alfred turn it on, that damn sound like a monster. Now it's ALIVEEEEEEEEE. Damn the honeycomb grill got me worry now. i should take a tookat mine tomorrow. Congrats man.

That really looks good Tom. Looks like Chris and Alfred are top notch in the tuning too. Are you sure that the honeycomb wasnt dislocated taking it off or something? That is the strangest thing and was nearly a MEGA EXPENSIVE failure. Are you going to go without one? Also any AFRs? I cant imagine your totally out of fuel I know you didnt push it on pump but thats were it should be glaring.
Update: Read what the TT guys said about the fuel and their reasons for the rec. Cant argue with it.
Tom is 7500 going to be you mark?

Here is a "sorta" legit apples to oranges comparo. The dyno below is of another Tuning Technologies customer with a RNR 35R turbo kit. He has a stock bottom end (READ: 2.0) but otherwise very comparable (stock ecu, maf, head, intake mani, etc.) He was tuned with a SAFC instead of an Xede:

As far as the heat coating goes, if I wasn't totally thrilled by the motor's performance, I might complain to AMS about it....
