20k on the stocker with a few hard (and mostly stupid, in hindsight) launches and it's still fine... no mods other than intake and tbe... 272s and gears, injectors, MBC, FP, headstuds and turbo upgrade coming soon - I'll stop knocking on wood then and upgrade the clutch, too.

yeah it sucks when the clutch starts slipping its a pain in the as you want to go and your not going nowhere i was driving like 45 miles to have my new one put in, and it was in traffic in the morning i almost thought i wouldnt make it, for those adjusting the clutch if your car used to grip half way on the clutch pedal before putting an act try to adjust the new one to grip a lil higher then the old one and you shoudl not have any lockouts.

27K on mine and no signs of slipping yet. I think a lot of it has to do with how it was driven at the factory, dealer, etc. If people ragged the crap out of the car when it was brand new and when the clutch was supposed to be breaking in properly, it would wear out a lot quicker.

When my clutch was going it would slip then grab.Never had it do this before on any other car.

BTW only my plate and flywheel were glazed. The disc still had life.

22k miles on my 03. I got an Exedy twin at 5000 miles and it's still in the box un-opened.

On my third clutch! Took me a couple to learn how to launch it! First OEM went 15k miles. ACT clutch went 8000 miles. On another OEM now because it feels so much lighter, is made by Exedy, does not lock me out of gear, and does not cause any synchro grinding.

I'm at 20K+ miles and my clutch is great and probably drives the best right now. This is with 2 track days so far. I'm pretty much modded to Stage 1+. My friend has over 60K+ miles on his with at least 5 track days and his is still pretty good according to him. He's very mildly modded. And we both daily drive our cars, but no drag strip visits. Mine's an 04 , his is an 03.

Hi,

I passed 44K recently on stock clutch as well. Last 12K miles or so have been with the cams.

I haven't been to the drag strip, but did try some launches when the car was newer. Smelled the clutch during a few of those, heh.

Clutch doesn't "feel" that great, a little bit of chattering, esp when cold, but it doesn't seem to slip at all. I hope I can make it till next year so I can go through another phase of updates, heh.

Take care,
