Is there a way to check the level of transmission fluid?

Is there a way to check the level of transmission fluid?

....looked around real quick, couldnt find anything.

haha you could do that but the manual states that you should open the oild fill plug (the one on the side) and stick your finger in there to make sure it is just level with the hole. If it goes too deep more than 1/2in then fill it up till it is flush with the hole

find the drain bolt on the transaxle (it'll be on the bottom and i think it says "drain"). above that there will a bolt smaller than the drain bolt. you take that out and you stick your pinky in the hole and the fluid should be just below the hole (on a level surface off course, a lift works the best). If you cannot fit your pinky in, get a small object like a popsicle stick or paperclip, bend it, and stick it in slightly to measure the fluid.

ok.

kind of off topic but does anyone reccommend using syncromesh opposed to 2 qts. mt-90 and 1qt 75-90 in the tranny. I was told to use the redline products.
