will a downpipe off of a 2003 fit on a 2005?

 

it depends on which dp. Most dont fit. do a search... I believe the turbo xs and JIC fit with spacers. I think the Hleix version 2 fits, but some complain of rattling.

 

Yes, unless its a MR ... there are some downpipes that won't fit an 05 MR ...

 

most DO fit. I have a 2005 evo and it fits fine. Its just a little closer to the t-case cuz the t-case is a little fatter.

I have the Dc sports downpipe, IMo best bang for the buck. Its 3", mandrel bent, looks great, and skips the cat and goes right to the exhaust so no need for a test pipe. unless you want to run a cat, you can be catless for 245$ shipped. any other downpipe and test pipe combo will be more money unless its ebay crap
